Speakers: KEF Q350
Why we chose it: The KEF Q350 Bookshelf Speaker is the newest iteration of KEF award-winning Q Series. The Q350 features a new cabinet, sleek new finishes, and an improved 6.5” Uni-Q driver Array. The Q350 contains an enhanced Uni-Q driver Array designed to smooth out treble frequencies, and reimagined crossovers to provide cleaner and more accurate bass. The front port has been moved to the back of the Q350 and internal architecture has been redesigned to reduce internal resonances to improve audio clarity.
Turntable: Pro-ject Debut Carbon EVO
Why we chose it: The best-sounding turntable made at this price point, the Plug-and-Play Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO includes a factory fitted critically acclaimed Sumkio Rainier moving-magnet cartridge for exceptional detail retrieval, an incredible carbon-fiber tonearm for stiffness, and DC power supply for resolute speed stability. This new update includes improved damped adjustable feet and a more massive TPE lined platter for increased flywheel effect. Packing high-end features, this turntable may be our least expensive, but punches above it’s weight.
Amplifier: Yamaha A-S301
Why we chose it: Yamaha really pushed the envelope of what is capable in an entry-class integrated amplifier with the A-S301. Touting Yamaha’s renowned audio engineering, the A-S301 is capable of pushing 60W of high-fidelity sound to your speakers from a variety of analog and convenient digital sources. Whether you are streaming or spinning, this receiver is up to the task.
Speaker wires: Pro-Ject X1 Turntable
Why we chose it: The Essential Speaker Cables were specified for this package by Symbol Audio and feature 16 AWG wires each comprised of 26 strands of 30 AWG commercial grade annealed copper for excellent signal transmission. Each cable is 10 ft long, hand assembled to order, and have tinned ends to prevent fraying for superior contact with speaker terminals.
