Blake Tovin – Founder and Creative Director

Blake has more than 25 years experience in product development, branding and marketing. Blake has been involved in all areas of the furniture industry from his start as a hands-on furniture maker to running his own successful design licensing business, Tovin Design Limited, established in 1991. Tovin Design specializes in designing furniture for specialty retailers such as Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, EQ3 and many others.

Matt Richmond – Senior Designer

Matt heads up our product design and development. Matt brings his experience as a buyer for Design Within Reach and more recently with the San Francisco based Council Furniture. He is also Senior Designer at Tovin Design Limited and the mind behind the much loved iVictrola.

Joel Edmondson – Marketing Director

Joel joins SYMBOL audio as Marketing Director bringing experience in both product design and business to the new venture. Joel was most recently Creative Director at Stylefactory an online furniture retailer utilizing crowd sourcing and social media marketing strategies.
